Interviews: Curse Of Eibon

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Melodic Death Metal band Curse Of Eibon from Sweden. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name was inspired by the warlock Eibon who wrote the book of Eibon in one of HP Lovecrafts stories. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

All of us come from metal bands and we just came together to make something we really dig.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Only Anders and Fredrik knew each other feom before, the others met through a online group.

4. Each band member favorite band?

There are so many but to namedrop a few, Pantera, in flames, Korn, slayer, Insomnium

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Anything really, it can be an idea that spawns into a track. Or a feeling.

6. Where was your last gig?

We haven't played live yet as Curse of Eibon.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere as long as its fun for us. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There's no preference tbh, as long as they are chill and easy to work with.

9. Whom not?

Can't really say, anyone.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Naturally, but you just gotta get up there and do it. Don't get too drunk before the show haha 11. What bands have inspired you the most? Hard to say, but at least some of the bands mentioned above.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

No idea hahaha

13. What do you think of your fans?

We just started so its hard to say.
