Interviews: Sick Century

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band Sick Century from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

One New Years Eve in Manhattan, Scott got wasted and did way too much meth. He was sick for so long after,  it felt like it could have been a century. Hence the name Sick Century was vomited into the world.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Marc and Scott both have micro penises, what are the odds!? They felt that no women could ever love them, and making music was their only recourse to find true happiness in the arms of a woman.  They aren't black, so a career in rap was out. Low IQ rock music seemed like the next best option. Please love us! Scott's number is 717-422-6338, pic 4 pic.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Marc and Scott found each other on Craigslist in the "male seeking male" section.  Little did they know the bond they formed would go longer and deeper than they ever could imagine.  Brady was a great drummer they found on the internet and pretty popular, and they could probably use his popularity to boost their own- frankly, anything would be a step up for those worthless nobodys.  Nick willingly came to the first band music video shoot, so he got in the band that way.

4. Each band member favourite band?

It's fair to say that the members of Sick Century have music they like. But this is one of those bands where one person makes all the creative decisions,  its for the best.  So overall, musical influences become beautifully irrelevant, every member supports the whole, each piece in its place.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We pretty much hate the lives we've built for ourselves, the people we've become, and the decisions we make on a daily basis.  Making music allows momentary escape from the reality of our crushed dreams and the endless downward trajectory of our terrible lives.

6. Where was your last gig?

We haven't played a gig.  Only our parents would come if we did.

7. Where would you like to act?

First of all, this is a really great question to ask a band!  Most of the Sick Century members made their acting debuts on the casting couch and in Brazzers featurettes.  Given their respective skill sets, I think you will see them content to act on these platforms for years to come.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

It would make most sense to have Cardi B on a track. We’re big fans. Her unique style and cattywampus attitude would lend itself perfectly to our next single plus like we said, we are huge fans of anything porn and her performance in that sex tape is unabashedly what we’re all about.

9. Whom not?

ANOTHER really great question. We don't want features from people with a smaller fan base then us. If they don't get us clicks or chicks, what’s the point!?

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We've actually never been on stage. The best way to overcome fear is to just avoid it entirely.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

All the bands and artists who have gone broke and signed bad deals and lost huge amounts of money to record labels.  It's really inspired us to not be complete idiots, acquire basic reading comprehension skills, and hire a lawyer.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Most of our fans were found through Facebook Ads. We've attracted an interesting segment of fans that are into something called "pup play".  Its where you dress up like puppies in bondage gear with your buds, and then, well, play with each other.  Some people might consider that weird, but hey, live and let live we say. They haven't asked us for anything...yet.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Ya know, overall our parents and the pup play guys are pretty cool.  There's like 3 cute girls that like our band, which is sweet. Hopefully, they have friends. Hopefully, we can find someone to love.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s great. The interview questions are really good.  The effort, research, and time put into these interviews really shows.  You guys are definitely asking the questions people are dying to read about.  This website has a really bright future!
