Interviews: Tramston Valley
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band, Tramston Valley, from Japan. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Haruki: It's from my pocket, I had Tramset(medicine) and Winston(cigarette) in my pocket.
And I was listening to John Mayer's album Paradise Valley in the toilet at that time. I mixed those
words Tram+ston+Valley, It's just an idea.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Haruki: I think there are no restrictions on rock music, So I like rock music. I feel the freedom to it.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Haruki: Yeah, Because we met jam session. We played many times before formed the
band.
4. Each band member favorite band?
Haruki: 3 Doors Down, The Black Keys, Black Stone Cherry.
Wallaby: Soundgarden,NIN,Mogwai,Yurayura Teikoku.
Nogi: Pixies, Manic Street Preachers.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Haruki: It's me, Always I inspired from Art, Movies, Nature.
6. Where was your last gig?
Haruki: It was at Gamuso Asagaya in Tokyo.
7. Where would you like to perform?
Haruki: Volcano.
Wallaby: Amsterdam, Stonehenge.
Nogi: Anywhere, I wanna play in a lot of people.
8. Whom would you like to perform with?
Haruki: I have no idea, Anyway if the chances are there, We want to perform with many artists.
9. Whom not?
Haruki: Yes, It doesn't matter.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat
that?
Haruki: Yes I have. So change my mind so don't be afraid of failure and it's OK to make
mistakes.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Haruki: Uncle (an unknown guitarist), Howard Benson(producer).
Wallaby: Smashing Pumpkins, King Crimson, Ramones.
Nogi: The Beatles, RHCP.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Haruki: No, We haven't so far. Because We still local small band, Only good people!
13. What do you think of your fans?
Haruki: Always, We thanks for fans!
