Behind The Artworks: Foul Body Autopsy - Consumed By Black Thoughts (2020)

I wanted the artwork to try and represent what its like to live with anxiety and depression. Most people refer to depression as “the black dog” but I can’t say I have ever found black dogs all that terrifying. So, I wanted the creature on the cover art to properly represent how terrifying living with mental illness is. Luckily Dan Goldsworthy did an amazing job with the artwork and I am very happy with how everything came out.
