Interviews: Lesnar Suplex

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hardcore band, Lesnar Suplex, from Italy. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Tthe band name comes out from the wrestler brock lesnar and his trademark move “the Lesnar Suplex”. It’s a cool and devastating wrestling move and it sounded cool to us so we chose it for our band.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We Choosed to play thrashcore because in our band there are a lot of influences (mainly metal and punk). We are not afraid to experiment between genres and We think thrashcore give us space to do it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

yes, We are all long time friends, We know each other from high school. 

4. Each band member favourite band?

Well, We got a lot of inspiration from slayer, anthrax, sepultura, deicide, suffocation as well as power trip, municipal waste, trash talk, hatebreed, sick of it all, suicidal tendencies, vitamin x 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our inspiration comes out from our love To playing music, being together and “doing noise”.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was at roMetal in Rome

7. Where would you like to act?

We would like to act at Venezia hardcore fest or Marci su Roma and many others festivals 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to act with suicidal tendecies or municipal waste 9)

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, we have never suffered from it, but the advice I can give to beginners is to have fun and don’t think about anything on the stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The main band that ispired us Is slayer hands down 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A fan asked our lead guitarist to touch his guitar. It was a dean flying V that he is still playing nowadays.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Fans are our fuel. Without them We would not have been there.
