Interviews: Scream At The Sky

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Industrial Metal band, Scream At The Sky, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

One day we were sitting in our studio and someone in the band said the name SCREAM AT THE SKY and it felt right but also has meaning to us that even on your worst day you can let it all out and just SCREAM AT THE Sky and you might just feel a little better.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Well for us it's not a particular genre we play. It's what the audience reacts to.. what makes you move and a combination of multiple influences.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes most of the guys have known each other for years playing throughout the Houston markets for years in many different bands and of course on top of that just helping each other out thru the years as a family.

4. Each band member favourite band?

BRIAN – THE BROWNING

DAVE- LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE)

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

BRIAN: I personally enjoy every second I get on a stage it´s a place I don't think about anything I go on autopilot and of course every challenge has its moments but it´s how you react to the situation that gets you through the stage fright.

DAVE: As I am a shy person it helps me to tune everything out and focus on the music, almost like a meditation or prayer.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Any band who is out there kicking ass and working hard we like the self-made style band because we ourselves are DIY.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Color their butthole with a shape or show your butthole for a cig. Basically, butt stuff.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Without fans what we do would be just an audio diary.
