Behind The Artworks: The Machinist - I Am Void (2020)

We actually let Roberto Toderico, the artist, have a lot of creative freedom here. The brief was essentially: Create something that evokes a sense of passing time, alienation, and a mix of Lovecraftian and body horror themes. There was no specific image we wanted. 

  

This is what he came up with and it was pretty much smack bang where we were in terms of theme and ideas. The symmetry, the coat of arms, it was all him! Massive props and respect, he’s set us up with a gold mine of imagery we can use to represent us for quite some time!
