Interviews: Mofoisdead

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band, Mofoisdead from Australia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name just came out of my brain like that. I felt no need to question it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Not really a choice, just natural instinct. We don't really decide on genre, we just play whatever feels good and sounds good to us.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we just met through the vast local family of musicians. I started the band (with original bassist Colonel John Slattery) before I met Luke & Scotty.

4. Each band member favourite band?

MOFOiSDEAD of course.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Impending doom, reality, escaping reality, love, loss, and an unquenchable thirst for phat riffs.

6. Where was your last gig?

Crowbar Brisbane (RIP)

7. Where would you like to play?

Anywhere we're appreciated. Red Rocks would be cool though.

8. Who would you like to support?

Biffy Clyro

9. Who not?

There's too much fucking perspective now.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really when it comes to music. Tips? Go to your happy place. Create your own reality.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Personally: Better Than Ezra, Spacehog, GN'R, RemyZero, Azure Ray, OURS, QOTSA, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Incubus ...the list goes on.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The remains of my beverage.

Love 'em.

I love that it's full of music. Playlist on the homepage FTW.
