Interviews: Postcards From The Moon

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Pop Rock band, Postcards From The Moon from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came from a poem that I (Caleb singer) had wrote called "Dear Astronaut", it goes "I'll be there soon, sending postcards from the moon" the poem means a lot to me and I needed it to be the name.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I grew up listening to bands like Simple Plan, Yellowcard, boys like girls, etc... it just stuck with me. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

yes, I grew up with my drummer, and I knew kyle(guitar) and Rolando (violin) before they joined the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Our favorite bands are:

Caleb - Silverstein

Kyle - A Day To Remember

Joseph - A Day To Remember

Rolando - The world is a beautiful place and I am no longer afraid to die.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Heartbreak is the main thing, but just the fact that we can he,p someone going through a certain kind of pain is the drive behind everything. 

6. Where was your last gig?

6. Bonds bar for the "Star party music festival" created by us. 

7. Where would you like to act?

Vans Warped tour or Sad summer would be great! 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Derek sanders from mayday parade or Travis from We the kings, please.

9. Whom not?

Anyone from botdf lol 1

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

stage fright? not really, the hardest part is before we hit the stage, wanting to perform a perfect show, but if I had to give someone a tip it will be to do your best, people bought the ticket to see a show, so give them the best one you possibly can. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

for sure, Mayday Parade, All time low, Yellowcard, We the kings, The summer set & Simple plan. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing yet lol, were glad that we haven't had an awkward experience yet. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're the best and we owe every single ounce of fame to them and them alone, without our fans we wouldn't be where we are right now, they help support our dreams and were in this journey together, we rise together, we reach success together, there's no other way.

14. What do you think of our site?

Having a platform to help musicians out is always a big checkmark in my book, you don't have to do what you do, but you do, and for that, this site and everyone apart of it have my respect.
