Interviews: BESTIA ATER

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Death Metal band, BESTIA ATER from Bulgaria. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name is in latin and means " Black Beast ". It sounds ferocious and evil, so we choose it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We started playing death metal back in the 90's. It's a very dynamic and brutal music style. We just love it!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we've been playing in another local band years ago.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We do have so many favourite bands, it's difficult to pick just one... But lets say Anata, Gorguts, Malevolent Creation, Morbid Angel.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The vast quantity of music that we prefer to listen. This is our inspiration.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was at "Sea of Black Festival" 2020 in Bourgas city, Bulgaria.

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd like to play all around the world. We know that death metal fans are everywhere.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

A hard question... There are so many great bands.

9. Whom not?

Even harder question. Maybe some bands who don't respect the other bands... 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, it's something that's quite normal, we think. But you don't have to fight it. Once you start playing, it disappears.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bands with unique style and approach.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Well... an autograph on beer can !

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are grateful to all our fans! They know well what to listen, hahah !
