Interviews: Sailing Before The Wind


On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band, Sailing Before The Wind from Japan. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was named from the Japanese four-character idioms. I aimed to be three or four characters abbreviation form as 'August Burns Red', 'Bring Me the Horizon', and so on.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Naturally

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes.

4. Each band member favourite band?

This or the Apocalypse, Sirens and Sailors, Feed Her to the Sharks.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I got inspired by the song that is Melodius and Guitar Oriented.

6. Where was your last gig?

Imake GROW where located Nagoya, Japan.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Don Vedda. His songwriting and guitar solo are so good.

9. Whom not?

No one in particular.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Almost no suffered.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I can't decide, but I had a great influence on my breakdown-writing from Elitist. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

There was a fan who bought four windbreakers in size XL at once at the merch booth. A little weird, but great.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're beyond awesome.

14. What do you think of our site?

Fantastic.
