Interviews: Anthropophagus Depravity

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Death Metal band, Anthropophagus Depravity from Indonesia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

This name I gave, my friend who added depravity, because of the initial concept that we stretched about ancient man

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I didn't choose to play this genre, but brutal death metal chose me to play it haha

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We never knew each other, because we came from different regions, music that brought us together and made us brothers

4. Each band member favourite band?

For sure we have the same taste of music, I hear it a lot of bands and they also listen to that band, if we may mention maybe like Immolation, Defeated Sanity, Cerebral Effusion, Disentomb,Devangelic, Relics Of Humanity, etc

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Honestly, I answered he is Mario from devangelic and Jake from Disentomb

6. Where was your last gig?

Last year before the pandemic, precisely in February at the Indonesian death fest chapter Jogjakarta

7. Where would you like to act?

Maybe if my dream can play in deathfeast open-air or Maryland death fest, haha hopefully come true

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Paolo from Devangelic, maybe someday, if I can't, maybe can work together on a single or the next AD album

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Surely we experienced it, yes more mature in preparation, a lot of practice before the gig and a little exercise, do not forget to drink herbal medicine haha

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

As I often mention at the beginning, devangelic, disentomb, and relics especially, have strong music and can make the listener feel the atmosphere

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

hmm might ask for the band shirt I wore when performing 13. What do you think of your fans? they I consider brothers like my bandmates, there is no boundary between artists and fans, all the same, they are our new friends when visiting the event, yes like that

14. What do you think of our site?

It May seem boring when the answer I can convey, this website is good and inspires other musicians in the work, but what I have in mind is that's all

15. Something to add?

No more ,I just want this site to continue to grow and become a barometer of people to dig up information about the band they like and idolize
