Interviews: Mysterizer

We have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band Mysterizer from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Tomi: We first thought of something mysterious for the name and the guitarist said how does it sound like Mysterizer? And everyone says Hell Yeah, it looks good and sounds good, so we chose that name right away. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Tomi: We all love Heavy Metal, so it was a foregone conclusion for us. But all members have a wide taste of music, and that's a pretty good thing. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Tomi: No actually 😂 Only saw each other somewhere, before we started the band. 

4. Each band member favourite band?

Kurtti: Skid Row, Iron Maiden, and Helloween.

Hammer: Judas Priest, Loudness, and Iron Maiden.

Palmroos: Nightwish, Twilight Force, and Dragonforce.

Kylätie: Dark Throne, Deicide and Sepultura.

Guidestone: Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Motörhead. Hänninen: Children Of Bodom, Pantera and Moonsorrow.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Hammer: Ideas are born if you read books, history and if you have a good flow. Timo Tolkki is one of my favorite songwriters. 

6. Where was your last gig?

Tomi: It was July 15,2021 (45 Special, Oulu) 

7. Where would you like to act?

If you mean where we want to play gigs?

It doesn´t matter, we play everywhere. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Tomi: Sebastian Bach, Bruce Dickinson, Michael Kiske, Yannis Papadopoulos and many many more...

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Tomi: Yeah of course, every time when I'm waiting in the backstage, I'm so nervous. But when I sing a couple's song that feeling disappears and I feel so good. Just remember don´t take that too seriously, I mean show to everyone what you can do and enjoy. 

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Tomi: Many many bands, but almost all kind of music which raise your feelings. Someday I will listen Opera, Classic and of course Heavy/Power Metal music. 

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Tomi: Could I be your mother? 

12. What do you think of your fans?

Tomi: Without fans we don't have anything, so fans are a big part of this story. -Tomi

Tomi: I like your page because you share good music there and our music also, so big thanks, guys!
