Interviews: RED DEVIL VORTEX

We have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Rock band RED DEVIL VORTEX from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Red Devil Vortex was kind of an unexpected find and for some reason, it sounded good. Maybe it found us.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

The energy is incomparable and I loved music my whole life.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Iago and I used to be in another band together before Red Devil Vortex. We were friends with Luis for a long time before he joined the band so, yes.

4. Each band member's favourite band?

That's Iron Maiden for Luis and Iago. KISS for me.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life in its many forms and all the things that happen in it and the experiences we go though.

6. Where was your last gig?

Hollywood, CA at the Lucky Strike Live.

7. Where would you like to act?

I'd like to visit and play anywhere I can in the world. Would love to go to a place like Japan.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Maybe with one of our music heroes like the guys from KISS, Metallica, Zakk Wylde, Ozzy, Maiden, long list. In fact, I have recently released a song and video with Bruce Kulick from KISS and singer Paulie Z for the David Z Foundation Event. We performed "I Still Love you" from KISS and made the video in tribute of our family.members who passed away: https://youtu.be/TOisfTXmSRg

9. Whom not?

Not really sure. I'm not against trying something different artistically so, you never no!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, we're usually excited about it. What I'd say is be yourself, don't worry give em all you got, 100%!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Pretty much all our favorite ones we mentioned like KISS and Iron Maiden, also Black Sabbath, Ghost, Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N Roses, long list too.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To stop playing. Lol

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're great! They've always been amazing to us.
