Interviews: Deceaded

We have had the opportunity to interview the Groove Metal/Thrash Metal/Alternative Metal/Nu-Metal band Deceaded from Poland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It all started when Pała and Bober were 12 and they created their first band 'The Black Sky' and after a couple of rehearsals they changed their minds about the name of the group. Without much of thinking Pała yelled "Deceaded!" and it have stayed till this day.

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Since the very beginning we all were influenced by our parents who listen to some kind of heavy music. When it comes to us, it's all about the expression of all difficult emotions and having the opportunity to shout it out loud and spread our truth. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes, we grew up together.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Pała - Parkway Drive

Bober - RHCP

Bojda - Deep Purple

Maks - RHCP 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Society, drugs and getting laid.

6. Where was your last gig? 

CieszFanów Festiwal 

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play gigs on the biggest stages in the world. It would be amazing to play an exclusive gig in the colosseum in Rome. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

We would like to have a collab with Rósin Murphy, Atoms for peace, Steve Morse and Maynard James Keenan. 

9. Whom not? 

Dream Theater 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Like all of the beginners, we were stressed af before every little show, but eventually, we dealt with it as friends. Just smoke the right amount of weed dude. But seriously, it is all about overcoming that fright by yourself and trying to figure it out without trying Harding, keep it cool young blood. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Tool, RATM, RHCP, Metallica

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Some dude after gig asked if we want to sing his forehead by ashing it with a joint. Only Maks agreed. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love to throw parties with them after gigs.
