Band Biographies: Black Blood Of The Earth
Black Blood of the Earth is a Polish death/doom band formed in Torun in 2008. After their Demo 2011 and Wave of Cold (EP, 2013) the band returns with their full-length album - Bleak Light, Fervent Dark. BBotE combines the core of the 90’s style with modern production and a few, off-the-genre influences. Early works of Paradise Lost and Katatonia remain an important source of the band's inspiration. Such a combination of minor-sounding tunes is shaped in usually long, melodic compositions with tenebrous and melancholic lyrics devoted to solitude and slow decay.
