Interviews: Sinful Ways

We have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band Sinful Ways from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Brad: The name came to me honestly when I was playing Super Smash Bros with my friends! I shout out “F%^$ you and your sinful ways”

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Brad: The energy, the emotion, the aggression, and lastly the COMMUNITY! Other music genres just don’t hold a community bond that metal brings! You see someone in a metal shirt and you already made this minor bond!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Brad: With the current lineup now, I only went to school with our newly added guitarist frank Lahache.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Brad: The Unguided

Dave: Trivium

Georgio: Bring Me The Horizon

Frank: Animals As Leaders

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Brad: War, faulty politics, greed, depression, etc Usually anger towards something going on in the world.

6. Where was your last gig?

Brad: Depending on when this gets released, either Mavericks October 15th or the Avant Garde November 20th! (Hope that show goes well as we haven’t play it yet!)

7. Where would you like to act?

Brad: Hellfest, that’s my personal dream!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Brad: I believe most of the band would all come to an agreement with Trivium! We are big fans and they are a big inspiration to our sound.

9. Whom not?

Brad: Trapt, cause F*&% Trapt.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Brad: No one here seems to! Maybe as bigger concerts come around, a little anxiety will come with it but at the moment we all just love the stage so much! Just show up early and prepared and take long deep breathes!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Brad: As a band, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, and Parkway Drive.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Brad: I always laugh at people wanting setlists! It makes us feel big!

13. What do you think of your fans?

Brad: We love our fans! They support us well and since the reopening of venues in our hometown, we have sold out every show we have played!

14. What do you think of our site?

Brad: It’s great! Direct and in your face, easy to move around in!

15. Something to add?

Brad: Write music for yourselves! You are the ones that have to play it!
