Interviews: INCRYPT


We have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band INCRYPT from Australia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Incrypt the name was forged in steel 2000, originally the idea was to call the band Ironcrypt but wanted to write about myths & cryptic lyrics, so the decision was made to call it Incrypt, which soon became clear, we were buried beneath a church or a tomb.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Our passion is for heavy hard-hitting music. Took to the Metal genre as a teenager.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, some of us are family, little by little everyone else joined without knowing each other somewhat.

4. Each band member favorite band?

Mars - Kreator

Damien - Sepultura

Byron - Killswitch Engage 

Adam - Slayer

Enver - Yngwie Malmsteen.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Well, amazing question, the will to play music obviously was the beginning, without including musical influences learning other music, I confess, once I started playing guitar the magic appeared, also a natural writing ability is what drives me to write.

6. Where was your last gig?

Perth, Australia,

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere & Anywhere.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Kreator, Testament, Death Angel, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Megadeath, Destruction, Obituary. 

9. Whom not?

Haha!!! I'll leave that to our manager.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, Just nerves a bit of adrenaline but we are pretty chilled, the only tip is practice before getting on stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Everything Metal. Thrash Metal. Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer,

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

If I am a Mongolian warrior haha.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are number 1, fans are the center of gravity for an active band.

14. What do you think of our site?

Totally radical and all about Metal, inspiring, informative, very cool.
