Behind The Tracks: Brooklane - Breakaway (Single) (2022)

Alex Anderson (Vocalist): Breakaway describes how a toxic relationship can take its toll on someone when they are controlled by them for too long. You start to lose yourself and hold on to a false sense of love. Sometimes they will ignore you to pull you back in, so one of my favorite lyrical lines in the song is ‘Another missed call on your phone is all I'll ever be.’ We love playing the chorus live because of its driving guitars and energy. I think it will give us a chance to really connect with the crowd and share a relatable moment with a lot of people who think they are alone dealing with something like this.
