Behind The Artworks: Wizzerd - Space‽: Issue No​.​001 (2022)

Have you ever seen the 1981 animated film, ‘Heavy Metal’? The first scene is the root of the idea here. Collage artist Thom Easton knocked the idea out of the park with the art, then we created an album design to reflect the early ‘60s Columbia record look as we really wanted to hammer on the classic feel. The vinyl edition is a special die-cut featuring more artwork than you see on digital and CD, so make sure to pick one up and see the artwork in it’s full glory!
