Interviews: Fallfiftyfeet

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band, Fallfiftyfeet from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

Haha I mean we did have to think of it so I guess you could say it was planned. We just like alliteration.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We don't play any genre but tend to exist in the metalcore spectrum because it's what we grew up on and have always been passionate about making. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

This is a weird question because I wanna say obviously, because how do you even form a band with someone without knowing them really? But, then when I thought about the fact that me and Dave started our first band over the internet, before we had ever met each other, and we really had only been friends a few months at that point... yeah maybe we didn't really know each other before that band started. The band became our friendship and at this point, it is what motivates our friendship and keeps us bonded. Brothers in metalcore.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

The #1 band between us both is probably Every Time I Die. Right now though I'd say my last band obsession was probably Weezer.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

There is nothing in this world that doesn't inspire me to write songs.

6. Where was your last gig?

The last gig was in Lexington, KY with Age of Panic Retribution and Raptured. It was a very sick gig and there is a video of our set on youtube and we play our new song in it.

7. Where would you like to act?

We want to play anywhere where people with ears are willing to listen. But also, West Coast and Europe would be cool too lol

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There are so many sick bands we want to play with it's hard to even say. Wristmeetrazor would be cool. Pulses. needs to happen soon as well. I wanna see Guerrilla Warfare again too. The list is constantly growing. Fox Lake, buriedbutstillbreathing, Wounded Touch, literally too many friends that we have that we still haven't got to play with to name!

9. Whom not?

There isn't anyone I wouldn't wanna play with unless they were bad people

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

You're always gonna have some nerves. The best way to conquer is to just be good at your shit. If you are good at what you do you have nothing to worry about. So, practice.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Underoath, Alexisonfire, Fear Before the March of Flames, Every Time I Die, Remembering Never, Fall Out Boy, A Lot Like Birds, At The Drive-In, Hail The Sun, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Children of Bodom. It's never-ending.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

People usually aren't too weird, so I can't really recall a time when someone asked me for something weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Anyone who likes us probably needs a hug, so if you see someone rocking a fallfiftyfeet shirt ask them if they are okay!

14. What do you think of our site?

It honestly rocks hard. Thank you for doing what you do, sites like this hold it down for the scene.
