Interviews: SAGREVEHT

This is a new interview with the Heavy Metal band SAGREVEHT from Mexico. Check out the entire interview and give them a follow on their FACEBOOK PAGE. 

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

To be honest, it is a joke I came up with as a kid, It only has meaning in Spanish if you read the name backward.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I love almost all kinds of music, but I could not express what I wanted with any other kind of music so I started recording heavy riffs and melodies that turned into a few songs and that is when I got hooked on metal.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Kind of, but not really I (Hiram) and Aldo were already very good friends and we played together in other projects with Hugo, but Feryn and Socrates the guitar players were added to the project by Aldo so I could focus on singing.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I don't think we have favorite bands anymore, to be honest, there are A LOT! of bands and music acts out there so It's pretty much like choosing which son or daughter you love more...

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life in general, also other artists work as well, paintings, movies, literature, other bands, everything really...

6. Where was your last gig?

At a local bar in our hometown.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere people are willing to listen to our music really, but as a dream stage or venue, Wembley Stadium would be the one.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We are open to working with anybody, anytime, we like to share music, experiences, and everything we can with other artists as long as they put heart and soul into it. 

9. Who not?

Well, people, that are not genuine I guess... I firmly think that if you do something without caring about it then it is not worth it.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Get drunk... Hahaha, just kidding, well... Try to get onstage as much as possible, the stage fright will always be there but you will get around it and turn it into enjoyment. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Me personally, ACDC, Pantera, Tool, Alter Bridge, all that good stuff, and the king Elvis Presley of course

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To play at their funeral... I did not agree... He is still alive by the way thankfully hahaha.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Well, they are the reason for doing all this stuff, so it's fair to say they are the best and we care for them a lot

14. What do you think of our site?
