Track By Tracks: Diabolical Raw - Elegy Of Fire Dusk (2022)

1. Revelations:

Although intros and long openings have not attracted attention in recent years, we like to use such elements in our music. The album has a concept and the concept theme is Central Asian Turkish Mythology. The great Hun Empire and its successor, the great Khan Attila (Sword of the Gods), who shook Europe, will be familiar to many people. And the intro gives the Metal fans very good details about what kind of album comes. We did not use lyrics in the intro, instead, we preferred tunes dominated by ethnic instruments.

2. Commands of the Gods:

As I mentioned in the intro, the concept theme of the album was written based on Central Asian Turkish Mythology. I wrote a short story in which the characters in the center were created by me, as I wanted my story that will be the subject of the album's concept to be entirely up to us. An epic story about the events surrounding Kaygun, the daughter of Aykora Khan, the leader of a small clan is at the center of this story. This song, which opened the album after the intro, was appropriate to describe the rapidly developing events that brought Kaygun into deep chaos. Many shocking and chaotic details such as the murder of Kaygun's father by an evil spirit commissioned by Erlik Khan and the accusation of Kaygun in some way, the escape that followed, and Kaygun reaching a sword that is forged by the gods can find in the lyrics The song's chaotic, fast-paced and highly variable nature blended well with the lyrics and made an appropriate opening to tell such an epic story.

3. Wise Old Woman:

Accused by her clan of her father's murder, Kaygun escapes with her father's brother in arms Tilgen. Kaygun, who has a very fragile structure, comes across a small tent in the forest, where she has passed through places she has not seen throughout her life. Mother Kam, who lives in this little tent helps them, giving them food and a place to sleep. After the meal, when they sit around the fire burning in the middle of the tent, the spirit of Alig-Khan, who was able to escape from Erlik's attack, enters the body of Kam ana and speaks to Kaygun through her. Alig-Khan tells Kaygun that he is a prisoner in the underground world, that they need to free themselves and how to get there.

4. Entry into Erlik's Hell:

Kaygun finds Balbal stones and she touches them, and the three-dimensional gates in the form of triangles rotating inside each other appear in the air. In a few seconds, the triangular doors merge and become the door opening to the underworld. The warriors who step into a world that they cannot even imagine in their dreams, advance in the underground world with the feeling that they have nothing to lose. Also in these lyrics, a dialogue between Alig-Khan and Kaygun was written in 6th Century Karacay Turkish language.

5. Tilgen's Fall:

I can literally say a legendary hero story for the lyrics of this song. After the rescue of Alig-Khan with the superior efforts of Kaygun and Tilgen, they encounter many difficulties on their way back. Although they have destroyed the evil spirits of Erlik that followed them, they encounter Erlik's two terrifying daughters, Kishtey and Erke, in the throne room. Alig-Khan took the sword made by Gods from Kaygun for a while. Although the Gods had forged the sword for Kaygun, Kaygun still didn't quite know how to use the sword. To get rid of the underworld quickly, Alig-Khan used it. and Erlik's evil guard children attack Alig-Khan at the same time. Alig-Khan smashes Kishtey's face and then cuts off her head, but at that time he let his guard down against Erke. Erke is a woman with an impressive body from the waist up and a centipede from the waist down, she is a very powerful and evil creature. Seeing that her sister was murdered, Erke attacks Alig-Khan with her fork tail, at this moment, Tilgen intervenes and he wants to cut the fork tail with a single sword blow. but he was not fast enough and the fork tail gets stuck into his chest. Although Alig-Khan also destroyed Erke, there is no time to help Tilgen. they quickly escape from the underworld, but the poison of Erke was very strong. Tilgen is already dead. Alig-Khan made a shaman ritual as a warrior like Tilgen deserved, he blessed and send off his soul peacefully to its place in the ninefold spirit realm of the sky.

6. Face the Judgement:

With this song, the tempo of the album is faster again and in parallel with this, the second part of the story begins. After Erlik's invasion of Altındağ, the Gods were scattered and hidden in many places. The god Altai-Khan, who symbolized justice and provided it with his invincible army, was hiding in a secret place in the Tibetan mountains that he thought only he knew. Alig-Khan and Kaygun find this secret hideout and convince Altai-Khan to fight against Erlik with himself, his sons and his army.

7. Uprising:

The war against Erlik has now entered a new process. The atmosphere of fear has dissipated and hope is reborn again. In this context, the emotion desired to be given to the fans was poured into tunes without using lyrics.

8. Talking With Gods:

The strength that Altai-Khan adds to the fight alone is not enough. The blind god (other name of Alig-Khan) must also reach other Gods. The Blind God made a ritual to talk to the Gods who are scattered in many different places. In a place where he can be alone, he puts a bowl of water on the floor and starts the ritual after sitting cross-legged on the ground. the water spins up in the air, circling like a vortex around Alig-Khan. The rings gradually widen, the distance between the grains of water increases and finally the portal opens and the Blind God conveys His Message to all the Gods. At a time when everything was thought to be over and despair was even capturing the Gods. When we look at this song, especially with its guitar riffs and solo, in terms of symbolizing this moment when hope is reborn, it captures a strong harmony with its lyrics.

9. The Invincible Army:

Kaygun, Alig-Khan, Altai-Khan, and Altai-Khan's invincible army together with marching towards Altindag. They pass through cities and villages, making a show of strength without hiding themselves. Seeing this mighty army marching toward the battlefield, young boys and girls decided to be a part of this historic moment. Although they know that hope is low, they still prefer to fight. As the army approached the Golden Mountain, the number of warriors increased, and some Gods have already mixed into the crowd, but they do not show themselves, waiting to reach the Golden Mountain.

10. The Last War With Evil:

The army finally arrives at Altindaga and Erlik reveals itself from the top of the mountain. In the lyrics of this song, we see the struggle of the pre-war tense air and the first provocation moves on the battlefield. Seeing Kaygun, who survived despite all the effort Erlik spent to kill her. Seeing Gods such as Ãœlgen, Altai-Khan, Alig-Khan side by side, seeing the Black spear that he entrusted to his daughter in the hands of Alig-Khan. Such details throw Erlik into the hatred that comes from a much deeper madness. Erlik makes his first move in a hurry with this madness he has fallen into, and hurls thousands of arrows at his enemies. But Ãœlgen destroys all the arrows in the sky with the lightning thrown by his bow, as if igniting bird feathers. The first moves have been made, the threats were thrown, the nerves are tense, now the final fight begins.

11. The Last War With Evil II:

When you read the lyrics of the second part of the song, you can visualize epic cinematic scenes in your mind. A bloody battlefield, young people dying and injured, The Gods fighting alongside them that they can't even imagine, and the overwhelming superiority of Altai-Khan's invincible army. In such an atmosphere, Erlik encounters Ali-Khan with a vengeance ambition and mortally injures him. Kaygun, who witnessed this moment, finally stands in front of Erlik. Erlik saw the sword, which he called the god killer, in Kaygun's hand. While the superiority on the battlefield oscillates between both sides, Kaygun takes her revenge on Erlik and cuts off his head with the experience she gained from all these happened, the training she received from Alig-Khan, and the power of the sword.

12. The Council at the Asar Land:

After the death of Erlik's body, Ãœlgen takes his severed head and body, imprisons him in a place where no one knows and cannot reach, and assures Kaygun that he cannot be brought back to life again. Erlik's remains are cleared on Altindag and the Gods took back their homeland. After a while, Ulgen wants to assemble a Council, and he wants all existing Gods and Clan leaders to be found in this council. Alig-Khan, whose wounds have healed, is assigned to invite people to the council. In the end, all Clan leaders and Gods come together in council. Ulgen promises all the families of the deceased youth that their souls will continue their journey in peace in the ninefold sky. And he tells all the people that Kaygun will be their next Khan. He explains how important this situation, which is against his own traditions, is for the fate of people, and tells people to obey this order.

13. Epic Grandeur:

We didn't use lyrics in the outro, as in the previous two instrumental tracks. As you can feel with this track title, the epic music and lyrics that the fans listen to and recite throughout the album are given with tunes.
