Interviews: Kingsphere

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Modern Metalcore band, Kingsphere from Poland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name actually came out by combining the last names of the band founders - Maciej Sobieski and Marek Kula. Sphere means "kula" in polish and Sobieski was a polish king in the 17th century.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because we feel it's the most diverse genre out there.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes. We've played together at some points in our life before, on different projects.

Scar Symmetry, Children of Bodom, Slipknot, Periphery

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everyday situations, people we like and people we don't like, etc. Basically, everything around us inspires us.

6. Where was your last gig?

Cracow, Poland. A small club, but it was very crowded and people were coming in cause they could hear us from the streets when walking by. It was awesome.

Brutal assault, download festival, rock'em ring.

Scar symmetry, Born of Osiris, Eskimo callboy, Amaranthe, Spiritbox

9. Whom not?

Ed Sheeran

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Sure we did. Be yourself, don't try too hard. Everything will be just fine.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Scar Symmetry, All that remains, The Browning.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To play a "Dżem" song during our live performance. It is a polish blues band.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Great and supportive.

14. What do you think of our site?

One of our favorites.

15. Something to add?

We're really excited about our 2nd album. We think it's progress compared to the first one. We hope many will enjoy it and it will motivate us to write more cool stuff. Anyway, we can't wait to see what's everyone thoughts about it are.
