Interviews: Love Ghost

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock/Pop Punk/Emo band, Love Ghost from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

The name came to me when I was 12 years old. Our music has quite a range, it can go from soft, romantic and full of Love...To being extremely dark, angry, and kinda goth. Put those together and you have Love Ghost.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I feel like Love Ghost doesn't have a genre. I mean yeah, we are a rock band, with heavy grunge and emo influence, but there are elements of hip hop, trap, EDM, Pop, and I want to put even more genres into the music. I hope that as the music progresses there are fewer boxes and genres and there's more room for people to just enjoy the music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Somewhat, not really. I actually met Daniel when I was 11 years old, but all the other members I met online or through mutual friends, and then they joined the band.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Finn: Alice in Chains and Deftones

Cory: The Beatles,

Daniel: Bruno Mars

Ryan: Linkin Park

Danny: Jacob Collier.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life experiences, I try to keep it as genuine as possible, I'm just writing about how I feel about things around me and my perspective on the world. I have a twisted and creative mind so I utilize it to the best of my ability.

6. Where was your last gig?

Mexico City for thousands of people with our bro Adan Cruz.

7. Where would you like to act?

Once the war is over, we would love to play in Ukraine.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Billy Corgan, Lil Uzi Vert, and Dominic Fike to name a few.

9. Whom not?

Tom Macdonald. I don't like anything trump related or racist.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I actually have terrible anxiety, and I get a lot of panic attacks. But not when I'm on stage. Finn is overwhelmed with anxiety, Ghost feels none. The only reason I'll get stage fright is if someone I really care about is in the audience and I don't want to embarrass myself in front of them

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Nirvana and Linkin Park for sure.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I mean I've been asked for everything at this point. Money, drugs, to go meet them. I remember this one guy tho in Japan, he had me sign his CD, his favorite movie, then he pulled up this billboard with pictures of me, pictures of him, and edited pictures of us hanging out, he had me sign the billboard, then he asked for the picture, and once the picture was taken, he touched me in a very strange way. lolololol.

13. What do you think of your fans?

I love my fans, they are amazing. they're just like us, fr.
