Interviews About Albums: Aldaaron - Arcane Mountain Cult (2022)

In this new interview, we sat down with the French Black Metal band Aldaroon to ask some questions about their new album "Arcane Mountain Cult". 

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

Aldaaron is now back after a 10-year hiatus with a new album "Arcane Mountain Cult". This is our 3rd album, exactly 10 years after the 2nd one "Supreme Silence". On this new album, we pick up exactly where "Supreme Silence" left off.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The title speaks of a secret, hidden, and forgotten religious order, whose members worship a mountain.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

Ioldar (all instruments and vocals).

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

That's a tough one as I honestly think each song brings something special. Maybe the title track "Arcane Mountain Cult".

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD?If there is what it is?

No special message and I don't like to give too much information to the listeners, so that they can be free to project their own interpretation. 6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share? No. The lyrics are secondary for me and I don't particularly like to share them. 7. Which inspirations have been important for this album ? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially? As always I have been inspired by the mountains and the dark alpine forests. 8. Something to add? We are releasing at the same time as the new album a remaster of our 2nd album, containing our demo also remastered as a bonus. Both wil be avilable from Paragon Records and its partners around the world.
