Interviews: Mind Erasure

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Melodic Blackened Death Metal band Mind Erasure from Greece. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Lampros: it was a discussion we had about the media and how they can manipulate the crowds.

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Lampros: it is the music we like to listen to!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Lampros: yes, the founding members of the band we know each other for many years.

4. Each band member's favorite band? 

Lampros: that’s a hard question to answer, for my I think is amon amarth, vasilis favorite is bolt thrower, and Spiros, fleshgod apocalypse

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Lampros: violence, existential and nihilistic philosophies

6. Where was your last gig?

Lampros: at a small club name Graal in Corfu.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Wacken!!!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Adam from HATE and

9. Whom not? 

You get to learn and gain even from people you might not like, so I would not say no to working with any musician or artist.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

We all do, how to beat it? For me, exposition worked, but different people will find different solutions.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Bolt thrower, bloodbath, insomnium, wolfheart. Behemoth, hate.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I did not have a weird experience yet!

13. What do you think of your fans? 

They give us the strength and will to continue writing music

14. What do you think of our site?

I did find a lot of interesting stuff, you have done nice work and you can see the love in the music you have!
