Behind The Tracks: Astraline - Deadline (Single) (2022)

We proudly present our first-ever release "DEADLINE": the song is a hymn against the labeling which everyone endures. Now more than ever, people are ready to share their judgment: "you're not enough", "it's too late to try, "you're not gonna make it". But feeling labeled leads to turning against these people: this marks our metaphorical deadline to turn around the tables, making it our own judgment day, regardless of what people may say. The sound is a mix of modern metalcore with 'heavy' elements, huge breakdowns, and catchy choruses matching the different vocals registries evolving during the song: from clean fed-up lines to angry screams.

The name Astraline references a word pun based on the fact there must have been some sort of "astral alignment" to bring us together due to the distance, with some members living abroad. The band in fact been formed way before all the members would meet each other in person and work remotely despite the difficulties this may bring. With this first milestone lied down, we got even more excited to develop our next steps and we can't wait to show everything we already have in store.
