Interviews: Incursion

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Heavy Metal band Incursion from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our name means "Hostile raid into new territories." We thought it sounded cool. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It's what we grew up listening to and what we write naturally

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Maxx and Michael grew up together and knew Steve prior to the band forming. We met just met Dan and Robbie

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Maxx - Iron Maiden

Michael - Motorhead

Steve - Journey

Dan - Metallica

Robbie - Iggy & The Stooges

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

A lot of different emotions go into the writing process

6. Where was your last gig?

Nashville

7. Where would you like to act?

UpThe Hammers, Keep It True and Wacken

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

It would be amazing to share the stage with Eternal Champion, Haunt, Traveler, and Hell Gun in one show.

9. Whom not?

We're happy to play with anyone.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

No. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Just go out there and express how you feel

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Kiss, Ted Nugent, Raven, Anvil & Iron Maiden

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing yet.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Love the fans!!! We think it's an honor to be appreciated for what we do musically
