Interviews: HEEZER

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Grunge/Stoner Rock band, HEEZER from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that? 

In Finnish, Heezer means a person who inhales smoke furiously...It was the result of a long thought process.

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

We didn't choose it. It chose us.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

We all knew each other for at least a little bit. Everybody knew Häsä.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Sami: Beatles

Antti: Kyuss

Ville-Veikko: Mastodon 

Häsä: Popeda

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Mainly Häsä because he threatens to kill us if we don't write songs.

6. Where was your last gig?

Bar Kerubi, Joensuu / Finland

7. Where would you like to act?

Dunajam would be cool.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Fu Manchu & Kyuss

9. Whom not? 

Popeda

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that? 

Maybe at a young age but now we have a few beers to unwind. Kids, don't smoke too much before a gig.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Hard rock, Metal, Stoner & Grunge

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Pose nude for a painting

13. What do you think of your fans? 

Fans make the band. We are grateful for all of them.
