Interviews: Rotting Empire

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Death Metal band, Rotting Empire from Germany. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

A mixture of rotting christ and divine empire. sounds damn cool and suits us perfectly

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

We Love Death Metal

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Had a few line-up changes over the years. at first, the band consisted only of best friends, some of whom had known each other from school. over the years, however, one or the other from the bavarian metal scene had to be replaced.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I Think: Paradise Lost Obituary Vader meshugga

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Listening to cool music inspires me to write songs. the lyrics are often autobiographical and socially reflective

6. Where was your last gig?

Last Weekend near the City of Ingolstadt Bavaria

7. Where would you like to act? 

We don't really have any special requests. we like to perform everywhere. but in my opinion, Eastern Europe would definitely be exciting

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

There are no specific goals. for me personally, pyogenesis would be amazing

9. Whom not? 

No political bands

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I think we're all always a little nervous. we prefer beer to solve the problem.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I think Paradise Lost, Obituary, and Death. to Name the most important

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

We were forced to play topless at a benefits concert. the fun backfired as the event was for the benefit of hungry children

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We have the greatest fans ever.... 100% Support
