Behind The Artworks: Antitheus - The Faults Of Our Kind (2023)
The artwork for The Faults of Our Kind is meant to show the barren wasteland of life after
humanity and its mistakes. How we will one day leave the world inhospitable and any who
remain will wander in isolation, forced to wander in this new world. We wanted to show a
desolate landscape, void of any signs of human progress.
The artwork was beautifully created by Luke Tucker, who makes fantastic artwork using oil on
panels. We came to him with the theme for the album, a general idea of the artwork, and a color
palette using oranges, browns, and yellows. He took it and made something starkly wonderful to
look at, incorporating a blue sky behind the fiery clouds. I think he made something that is
instantly recognizable and stands out among other album covers.
