Behind The Artworks: Heiden - Andzjel (2022)

The photo of the little girl came to me during research, I immediately knew it had to be on the cover. This is vintage photography from the Žítková village in the Carpathians, dated to the beginning of 20th century. There is something magical about her for me. But the problem was the quality, I only had a low resolution photo. I tried several digital editing methods but it didn't work. In the end, I decided to approach artist Luďek Řezáč, who has already graciously created several covers of our albums, to try to repaint it 1:1. He did it and you can see the result on the cover of our record (I recommend vinyl version - you'll really enjoy it there, there are many beautiful details).
