Interviews: Dusares


On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Symphonic Deathcore band, Dusares from Malaysia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We planned it out together. the meaning of the name is from prehistoric gods, Dusares stands for "Mountains of God"

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We wanted to play something different and experiment with the genre between "Deathcore & Deathmetal" and also with a little pinch of "Nusantara Traditional Music"

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes we started this a 2 man-virtual (Alex-vocalist / Ren - Guitarist) then we decided to make this band a long term after that we recruited the bassist- (apiz) Guitarist -(Nas) Drummer-(Ijat) Keyboardist-(epul)

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Daarchlea / Alice in chains/Lorna shore/ Impending Doom / cradle of filth / the faceless

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The bandmates and also we are a passionate musician

6. Where was your last gig?

Not yet. but our debut show is at 20/1/2023

7. Where would you like to act?

Europe and all around the world

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

CJ Mccreery, Michael Keene, Lucas mann

9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Not yet

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Lorna shore and The Crimson Armada / Daarchlea

11. What do you think of your fans?

We think they are supportive and we're glad to see the metal scene has grown strong.

12. What do you think of our site?

We think your site is very helpful, especially for new bands like us. we wish there will be more metal sites like yours.

13. Something to add?

Melodic, emotional, and angry, “Al-Mawt” is recommended for fans of Impending doom, The crimson armada, and Lorna shore.
