Behind The Artworks: MEDEVIL - Mirror In The Darkness (2023)

The artwork represents the emotion of the album, and also reflects on the lyrics of the title track. The album explores concepts of depression and self-hate. From the woman, you can see how her vision is obscured, and she doesn’t want to look ahead at the reflection in front of her. The mirror is destroyed, leaving shards of glass in the darkest moments in life. This was drawn by one of Eric’s friends who is an incredible artist, and we went through a few iterations before we landed on this one which felt like it really hit home the feeling that I hear when listening to the album.
