Interviews About Albums: Frontieres - Origins (2023)

In this new interview, we sat down with the Canadian Metalcore band Frontieres to ask some questions about their latest album "Origins". 

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

This new CD is a huge step up for us, as we have worked hard to self-produce professional quality music. We hope that the concept behind the LP will stoke our fans!

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The LP follows the journey of a retro-futuristic character in an apocalyptic world. That's why the 3 EPs are names Origine, Apocalypse, and Désolation. It's the continuity of his story.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

Every one of the bands helps in composing tracks, but our guitarist Samuel is the main composer.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

That's hard! We really love all of our songs and they all have a different twist and subgenre.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

There's no special message, but it resonates with our insecurities, and fears of our upcoming world.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

Je me souviens, which will be in the second EP and is our motto in Quebec.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

Thanks to our family for supporting us by putting many hours into this project!
