Interviews: Hellz

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock/Blues Rock artist, Hellz from Australia. Check out the interview and follow the artist on her FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I was known for singing ACDC, The crowd favorite was Highway to Hell. Somehow from that, I gained the nickname Hellz!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Hard rock and some blues are life to me! I honestly feel like I was born with it already programmed within me.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

For this album, I mostly worked alone writing, playing, and producing. A few songs on the album (Hurricane, Fire to the Sky, and Bitch ran away were produced and played by my amazing friends Gorka Alegre and Tolo Grimalt. Gorka Alegre is a very talented producer and Bassist and a longtime friend. He lives in Spain. We met in 2019 over social media.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I have many favorites that span many genres, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Sound Garden (Chris Cornell) Iron Maiden, Dio, Primus, I could go on for days!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Feelings and lessons I've learned. I always write about the reality of life experiences. 

6. Where was your last gig?

Well let's just put out there Hellz Abyss will be playing our next show on March 11th, 2023 at The Chippo hotel Sydney!! Brought to you by Battlegod Productions. We finished up a national tour last year of Australia.

7. Where would you like to act?

I would love to play at a huge festival in the USA! 8. Whom would you like to feature with? Nita Straus for sure

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

You just got to go out there and treat the stage like your bitch haha, get angry... Stomp all over that fkr..

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Every band that puts their all into their product. The bands that work their asses off to keep the underground alive!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To send my shoes and underpants to them after a show… fkn ewwww

13. What do you think of your fans?

I bloody love them with all of my heart and soul. They bring me to life.
