Interviews: KONVOLTED

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band, KONVOLTED from Germany. Check out the interview.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It came knocking, and I liked it because it's a made-up word, it has no meaning, and the chances someone else would pick it too, with all my merch already printed, would be very low.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because this genre, of all the music genres, is the most in line with my personality.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, in fact we still didn't meet in person, yet. I've found my companions on different platforms, offering their musical skills. It turned out to be we're all from different countries, which are Italy, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, and Finland.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Mine is... okay, I'll pick Sindrome this time. Yes, good choice! Their "Vault of Inner Conscience" demo is a perfect piece of music. Don't know about the other guys, sorry.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Who... hm... who... What... hm... what... sorry I can't answer this, I'm regularly getting confused by double questions.

6. Where was your last gig?

With Konvolted we never played live, yet.

7. Where would you like to act?

I like small clubs, I mean really small clubs, so small that you get the feeling the building will explode as soon as the sound of your guitar leaves the speakers!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

As you know Kyle Thomas of Exhorder is featured on our track "Feat" with his great voice - to me, this is already the absolute maximum of what I could have wished for. Any feature that may take place in the future now is a bonus.

9. Whom not?

I'll give a chance to everybody.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Oh yeah... My tip to beat it: don't play live!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Every band had a nice guitar riff to offer!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Merry her...

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fan (singular) is a very nice person!
