Interviews: Angry Corpses

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal/Crossover band, Angry Corpses from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

The name was founded by the bass player Kenny Ballone, who was a punk/Thrash maniac, who happened to live very close to the misfits, they jammed in Lodi New Jersey, which was about three blocks away from where we jammed, so the name definitely was inspired by that fact.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It was definitely the aggressiveness of the style

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We met because Kenny Ballone’s girlfriend went to the same high school as I did. She was a punk rock chick and I was into punk Hardcore and Thrash so I had a conversation with Keith Davis the original drummer of MOD, and I looking for a bass player that’s how we met. He had the band name ANGRY CORPSES from his prior band that broke up and we dug the name and therefore it was resurrected.

Donny Polinske: SKARHEAD

Walt Monsta Ryan: MURDERERS ROW

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Definitely our not are fucked up world

6. Where was your last gig?

The last group show was in Nyack Ny Olive’s

7. Where would you like to act?

Not sure about acting I’ll leave that up to Robert De Niro.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Well, there are many musicians out there that I would love to collaborate with, but I would have to say all the features that we have had on this new EP’ “Resurrected” bearing our original name now ANGRY CORPSES, and on the first EP’ H8 under the name now no longer in use MOD CLASSICTK we have been very lucky to have had some really good ones, so I’ll just mention some of these awesome musicians. 10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, but I do know some former members I’ve played with, in other bands that have puked before the shows.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bands that have long sustained existence, too many to name, but I would start with Agnostic Front & Sick Of It All

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don’t know if it’s weird anymore, but there was a girl that wanted me to sign her tits. And the dude that wanted a piece of my DEVIL lock. Ha

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re awesome and supportive. They always share like re-post our stuff buy our Merchandise and show up when we need them most.
