Interviews: ATRIUM

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band, ATRIUM from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Atrium was thought out. It has a double meaning. Atrium is a part of the human heart and circulatory system, which represents human life. There are two parts; the left atrium and the right atrium. They are both part of the heart as one unit, so put that into context with the way we live today in this world. Atrium is also a large open-air skylight-covered space surrounded by a building. This represents open human eyes.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We feel that this genre has more of a voice with a message. We grew up listening to this genre, and our influences come from the same.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we did. Chad and I are long-time friends. We got together with producer Johnny K and created some good music.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Bryant - Tremonti

Chad - Mammoth WVH

Johnny - Led Zepplin

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We write songs questioning real-world problems.

6. Where was your last gig?

We are brand new. No debut planned yet, but we can't wait.

7. Where would you like to perform?

Welcome to Rockville

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Our friends from the band COLD

9. Whom not?

We respect and love all types of music and all artists.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I think Chad had stage fright at one point in the beginning of his career. Psyche yourself up with excitement and natural adrenaline prior to getting on stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Led Zepplin.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Signed body parts, which was funny.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love anyone and everyone who will give our music a spin

14. What do you think of our site?

Great site. Very organized, and attractive. We are proud to be part of it. Can't wait to share it.
