Interviews: Walk With Titans

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Power Metal band, Walk With Titans from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our former bass player came up with it and we thought about it and a week later or so we were like "okay cool" It didn't intend to be a Greek Mythology themed band at first but it quickly took that turn.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We always loved it and we have many favorite bands in common, this style is very vocal oriented which we like, it is good to bring emotions to the music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Nick, Nikko, and I knew each other along with our former bass player Dave but we looked for a vocalist and met Jo. Jo then brought Lyd into the band.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Nick Guitar: Iron Maiden

Lyd bass: Symphony X

Jo vocal: Stratovarius

Louis: Angra

Nikko drum: Avantasia

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our instruments, the music we listen to, emotions we get from living this weird thing called life.

6. Where was your last gig?

We never played a show in our life so I am gonna go ahead with a lie and say Oslo!

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere! We are very open to ideas! Invite us, chances are we will go!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Stratovarius would be a dream for every member of this band, same for Blind Guardian or Helloween. Oh lord, I would be a kid again! 9. Whom not? We love everybody!

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I suffered it in my previous band Blackguard once, I got it after the show though, my knees were trembling. Never had it again so can't help but with the same aforementioned band, Paul the singer was yelling and screaming before the show and got us hyped up sometimes, ain't no stage fright possible after that!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Stratovarius, Angra and Blind Guardian

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

My drawls, jokes on him, I'm commando! (Jokes this never happened)

13. What do you think of your fans?

We just released our first single 2 weeks ago as we speak so, it is hard to say by now but we get a lot of support from people, so whoever you are supporting these old guys playing power metal such as ourselves; THANK YOU !!
