Interviews: Motherfaster

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band Motherfaster from Greece. Check out this band and follow them on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We wanted something cool to reflect the dirty vibe of the band and Motherfaster was the coolest of ‘em all!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We didn’t want to play this genre, it’s just what came out of us…

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yeah, Bill and I (Paminos) are brothers and we know Jim since 10 years old or something.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Rory Gallagher, Impaled Nazarene, and everything in between.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I don’t know! Inspiration is an unloyal mistress. You never know when she will meet with you and you can never force her.

6. Where was your last gig?

Athens 2020. It’s time for some shows…

7. Where would you like to act?

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

9. Whom not?

This would be a fathomless list…

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

No. Everyone is anxious before a show, but we have an inner process to counter it! Personally, I get anxious the night before the show, so it works great for me! The tip I’d like to give is don’t overthink it. It’s just a concert, you are going to play and have a good time doing what you love! After all, you have rehearsed your show and you are ready to go!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Probably Black Sabbath, but we are inspired equally by other classic acts and even extreme metal.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To send some songs that were never released. We get that sometimes, but this guy really insisted.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the No 1 external reason that keeps us going! Fans are the ONLY support bands get!

14. What do you think of our site?

Love it! Great design, easy to read, and very nice menu and categories.

15. Something to add?

Support the artists you like if you wanna hear more of them.
