Critically heralded Bay Area punk band "The Story So Far" has released a new song today titled “Out Of It.” In effort to raise awareness and money for mental health research, the band and their label, Pure Noise Records, will be donating a portion of proceeds to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.
Starting today, fans can purchase the new single “Out Of It” on limited edition 7” vinyl. There will only be 500 copies available on the site and all proceeds from those sales will be donated to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation. Another 1000 copies will be available on the band’s upcoming tour.
“We want to help contribute to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation because we want people to know that there is hope and that you don’t have to go it alone. From addiction to anxiety to eating disorders, or schizophrenia, we believe there is a way to help with these illnesses. We personally struggle with some of these illnesses everyday and we want to help each other out. Please reach out to a loved one, speak up and don’t be afraid to be honest about what’s happening. To learn more…” - Will Levy (guitar)
