News: The Plague release upbeat synth-punk single "Can't Stop Loving You"

Rochester-based "Futurepunk" band The Plague has debuted another new single from their upcoming full-length album Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E. The track "Can't Stop Loving You" premiered with Punktastic.com and is an upbeat tune about accepting someone for who they are and loving them unconditionally.
Frontman/producer David Adam Monroe says "Getting close to someone takes risk. There are many moments when it is normal to get afraid of rejection. 'Will this person accept my most core feelings, thoughts, ideas or even secrets?' 'Can I trust them to deal with my anger, joy, failure and successes?' I wrote 'Can't Stop Loving You' about unconditional love. I wrote it to let the people close to me know that I will be there for them no matter what, and that I accept them the way they are and I love them. I'm lucky enough to have them love me back and I am forever grateful. Relationships are the best thing I have in my life."
Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E will be released on October 13th via Recover Records, a label owned and operated by the band themselves. Monroe is no stranger to the business side of music, producing records alongside Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) and Earl Cohen (Lady Gaga, Pink, Jessica Simpson), and serving as an A&R rep for Victory and Torque records. Before that, Monroe led the band Third Estate who appeared on Warped Tour from 02-06 and toured with many established acts such as Story Of The Year, Yellowcard, and My Chemical Romance.
After 20 years in the music industry, Monroe sought to create a project that would spread a message of hope, and to rebel against these growing self-destructive ideals. “In the early days, most of my experience in the music industry seemed plastic and fake. Every time I got involved in something that seemed like it was going to take off, I was very concerned about the situation. Music is important to me, but so is being kind and loving. I didn’t feel I could make the world a better place with those opportunities, whereas working in a basement on this record has already done more for me spiritually than any work in the past." says Monroe.
"Can't Stop Loving You" is available now on all online retailers.
