Interviews: HOME WRECKED

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Pop Punk  band HOME WRECKED from UK. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came
out just like that?

Bands names are always something we found interesting to think of because it’s all about having a name that reflects and relates to the songs you write. I (joe) spent a couple of months before we all got together writing the lyrics for ‘Ready Set Go’ and was thinking what band name could go well the lyrics and what was inspiring me to write at the time.. ‘Home Wrecked’ eventually sprung out of nowhere and I couldn’t think of a more suited name so I put it out to the rest of the band after our 1st practice and everyone was as game as a bagel

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We are still searching for a sound that is always progressing into our own. we find it hard to distinguish genres. we’ve been called pop-punk, and nothing like pop-punk in the same venue we just played!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

we’ve been friends since school, we also gigged the same circuit when we were younger in our previous separate bands. which was at least 10 years ago. we were all in a royal rumble of bands trying to be the better than one another, its was tense! real street sh*t! which is pretty ironic now were all in the same band!

4. Each band member favourite band?

Heres a few bands on our circuit at the minute who we’re into, polar, blood youth, holding absence, woes.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our fans inspire us a lot, theres been big things happen already in a short space of time which is due to having the best fans. we feel like we owe them by writing bangers!

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in Manchester opening up for The Ataris. a little surreal sharing the stage with a major influence from back in the day. Also had moving day aired on BBC RADIO 1 for the first time that night too!

7. Where would you like to act?

Wembley stadium is a good place to start...

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Ramz

9. Whom not?

Everyone apart from ramz.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not forgetting your parts is always a good idea ha! Just remember people are there to see you and want the best. Worst gigs are minimal shows or acoustic guitars sets for family gatherings. Just don't invite them!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The kind of bands on our level making waves in an industry thats so difficult

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Our fans aren’t weird... well maybe a little, but were just as weird!

13. What do you think of your fans?

ABSOLUTE DIAMOND GIRLS AND GEEZERS we love you all!!!! We played a gig in Sheffield the other week, and a car full of fans drove up from London To watch us perform, really opens our eyes dramatically to how much support we really do have.

14. What do you think of our site?

We love it, its a great way for keen music enthusiast to find out about new music in selected genres that there into. and also thanks for having us too.
