News: HAPPY. RELEASE BRAND NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “DON’T OVERDOSE AND DRIVE”VIA RUDE RECORDS

Happy., comprising of Tate Logan (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Jack Eskridge (Guitar), Caleb Rucker (Drums), and Sean Bowick (Bass), is more than just a pop punk band from Columbia, SC. Formed in 2016, Happy. released a successful EP entitled 'The Endless Bummer', before signing with independent record label, Rude Records in early 2018. The band's mission is to provide a sense of nostalgia for listeners with a sound that is full of infectious melodic hooks, oozing with catchy harmonies.

Last week, Happy. released “Don’t Overdose and Drive”, an infectious track recorded, produced and engineered by Will Pugh of Cartel and mastered by Cameron Boucher of Sorority Noise. Today, they are thrilled to unleash the accompanying music video, where the 4-piece got to showcase their inner spirit by taking over a Chuck E. Cheese location for an all out performance in the ultimate ode to the Animatronics.

Tate Logan had this to add about the track: “‘Don't Overdose and Drive’ is about a very good friend of mine, who I had grown up with my entire life. This individual become involved in drugs to a point where I found myself unable to be around this person and having to distance myself from their lifestyle to preserve my own. It was very sad because I cared so much for them and did everything I could to help, but it comes to a certain point where that person has to decide for themselves to get better. I wrote the song from an "I" perspective to be more relatable and reach a wider audience. At the end of the day, the message of the song is no matter how low you get, and how toxic the situation is, you can always get yourself out and come out on top”.

Happy. are diligently working on new songs, creating music that promotes positivity, personal growth, and self-defined happiness.
