Interviews: Here From The Start

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band Here From The Start, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We got the name because all of us have been playing music or in previous bands for quite some time and we formed together and figured we have all been doing this from the start.  So it ended up being Here From The Start.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We wanted to play this genre because it's tons of fun to make and go crazy with creativity. Also a lot of music we listen too and love are in this same genre.  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Cody (guitar) and Devon (Drums) Knew each other for awhile before the band, everyone else met through tryouts, the music scene and friends.  

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Peter: Circa Survive 

Cody: Avenged Sevenfold 

Devon: Asking Alexandria 

Chris: Coheed And Cambria 

Ryan: Stick To Your Guns  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Life struggles, Depression, Knowing there is other people out there dealing with the same struggles. We like to use music to get things we want to say off our chests. Also going to live shows and getting inspired by other artists.  

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was our EP release show at Legacy Brewing in Oceanside California.  

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would love to play at Warped Tour, sadly this is supposedly the last year :(  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would love to feature with The Amity Affliction, Fronz from Attila, or A Day To Remember that would be amazing!  

9. Whom not?  

Nickelback  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Peter: I myself always get a little nervous before going on stage but hanging out with my boys before the show, joking around and laughing always calms me down.  

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Circa Survive, The Amity Affliction, Silverstein, Senses Fail, Dance Gavin Dance, Chelsea Grin, Beartooth, A7X, Atreyu, and many more!  

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nudes.  

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love our fans, they are truly the reason why we do this and keep pushing ourselves to write better music.  

14. What do you think of our site? 

We love your site! 10/10.  

15. Something add? 

Always chase your dreams, never give up. Do something you can look back on later in life and be glad you at least gave it a shot!
