Interviews: L.I.E

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band L.I.E from Brazil. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Actually, we had a meeting and some ideas came up, and one of those ideas was L.I.E, which translates to Letters into Eternity that means a message that we want to address to as many people as possible

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

 We’re looking for a kind of sound that got our attention in the last couple years, such as metalcore and progressive metal.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

 Yes! We've known each other for 10 years, and we've played together on other projects.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Dream Theater, Wage War, Architects, Bring me the horizon and other bands of this style.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Our inspiration comes from daily life events, such as personal development, struggles e conflicts.

6. Where was your last gig? 

We played in March in a local bar, it was great! But now we are literally just in the studio finishing our songs.

7. Where would you like to act? 

We would like to play in the United States, and also in Canada!!! Hopefully in 2019

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

I cannot pick just one band. I think we would like to play with some of the bands I mentioned above.

9. Whom not? 

Boy bands? hahaha

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

I think everyone feels pressure when they get on the stage. You should just enjoy the moment and give your best. Do what you love in the best way you can! There is no big secret. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Every band that works seriously and has a passion for what it does inspires us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

We didn’t play in so many places, so there's nothing funny yet haha

13. What do you think of your fans?

The fans are everything to the band! We thought all the time what to do to please them.

14. What do you think of our site? 

We really enjoy it! The content of the interviews and all the work you do... I wish we had more sites like this.
