Interviews: My Secret Circus

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Rock/Alternative  band My Secret Circus from Australia. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was just something that rolled off the tongue.. (My) was something personal to who ever connected (secret) was a close tight group for those who found us (circus) the quirky entertainment the crazy antics.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Iv grown up w heavy rock and also Rap Rnb so mixing both came naturally in the writing process 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We did, we all played in different bands in the traps on the music scene. where Shane has been the bands front of house sound guy from the start and with a strange twist if fate has become apart of MSC. It’s hard to find a tight brother hood and now we couldn’t be happier 

4. Each band member favourite band?

Right at this moment We are all on Parkway Drives new album- Fellow Aussies. Tough album that! 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We all input but Vinny and I do most of the core writing. It could come from anywhere on any day. A voice recorder on your phone is your best friend around the clock. Could be a memory from something in your past, something that’s happening now. 

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last show was last year supporting our good friends Drowning Pool on their Australian tour at Max Watts 

7. Where would you like to act?

Act as in movies ?? Amm maybe an Action or something like pulp fiction.

Or act as in show.. perhaps Rock on Range would be a good one to do. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We all may have different answers here. Speaking for myself, would definitely be Mike Patton of FNM 

9. Whom not?

Rick Ashley. 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Ohh look there are always nerves before a show it’s normal but that brings the fire building it all up for it to explode on stage. Some handle it different then others weather it’s meditating to a few drinks to calm the nerves. We do a lot of running around it’s an energetic show so stretching is important and can be another good way 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

There are so many.. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Ammm not weird but we had a US couple getting married and asked us to film a congratulations from Australia so they could play it on a screen at the ceremony. That was nice. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

Without music fans this conversation wouldn’t exist. Everything is for the listener the supporters of music the connection the band has with each and every person is amazing and much appreciated and we hope we can connect the energy of your music to help others be inspired to have courage to know they can do anything wether it be overcoming something or to excel 

14. What do you think of our site?

I think what you guys are doing is great keeping it alive. The link between the bands and fans are important and that’s what it’s all about so thank you for your time and your site. Love your work
