Interviews: Tallah

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Nu-Metal/Metal band Tallah from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Justin Bonitz: Because Max told me to, and I like spittin’ flames.   

2. Did you know each other before the band was formed?   

Justin Bonitz: Yea, I knew Max for like three seconds before I joined.    

3. Each band member’s favourite band?   

Justin Bonitz: I fucking love Creed.   

4. Who or what inspires you to write songs?   

Justin Bonitz: There is this invisible bubble of thoughts from the collective consciousness that is perpetually floating above my head. When it is time, I just reach up into that and start grabbing lyrics to inkblot the page. If the universe allow it, then it was meant to be.   

5. Where was your last gig?   

Justin Bonitz: Today I actually went out into the woods with my acoustic guitar, sat in the middle of a babbling brook, and played a quick set for the creatures of the forest. They did not like me much.   

6. Where would you like to act?   

Justin Bonitz: I think it would be cool to act in the middle of a really important news broadcast. Imagine if CNN was doing some kind of exclusive, and I just walked on set acting all lost and confused.   

7. Whom would you like to feature with?   

Justin Bonitz: R. Kelly.   

8. Whom not?   

Justin Bonitz: My alcoholic mom.   

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?   

Justin Bonitz: I get stage fright before every single show. I have a massive wave of diarrhea, anxiety, and then I get on stage. I do not have any tips to beat it. I just kinda’ deal with it every show. It does not stop me from doing my job, it is just annoying to have runny, burning diarrhea every time we have a gig.   

10. What bands have inspired you the most?   

Justin Bonitz: Disney villain music. But I guess that is not a band, so we can go with 3 Doors Down, Creed, Fuel, and Pillar.    

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?   

Justin Bonitz: This one fan literally told me, “I’ll buy a Tallah shirt if you shove it down your pants after your set’s over.” I have not met this fan IRL yet, but he better put up or shut up.   

12. What do you think of your fans?   

Justin Bonitz: They are just ordinary people to me, but they happen to like our music. Awesome.

Justin Bonitz: I think it is wicked sick.
